As per the detailed discussion with SP Mainpuri Ajay Kumar, he says that the secret can be summarised under 5 Cs, as below:
*CONTACT TRACING*: SP Mainpuri Ajay Kumar formed a robust Corona Control Cell within Police Lines premises & posted 11 dedicated officers headed by Addl SP OP Singh. It did & is doing very meticulous Contact Tracing exercise leaving no stone unturned.
*COORDINATION & CLOSE SUPERVISION*: DM Mahendra, SP Ajay Kumar & CMO AK Pandey, all these three key officers behaved like a single unit. They moved together, met together, took every decision together & strategised together. This led to the grand success. SP Ajay Kumar says about this “ Planning is the key, implementation is critical & coordination among the key departments is the crux of the entire success.”
*CHAIN OF SUPPLY (SUPPLY CHAIN)* : Ajay Kumar says that “Without maintaining smooth supply chain, Lock Down can’t be sustained for long.” For this DM-SP along with their teams walked street to street, village to village to check the reality & distribute ration to all the needy. Home Delivery played a crucial role in the entire plan. Community Kitchen services also helped a lot to feed the poor & the homeless.
*CONTROL ROOM FACILITY*: SP & DM Mainpuri gave great attention to the control room facility. It is operating within Collectorate premises 24X7 with very sensible personnel in command. All the complaints & suggestions are taken & addressed in the right spirit. Also, the Control room number was popularised among masses by SP Ajay Kumar by writing a couple of poems himself in Hindi language.
